During the summer months music festivals like festival Mundial and Dance Tour take place. During the travelling carnival set up in Tilburg in july, one and a half million visitors enjoy themselves in the city. Throughout the year well known and less well known artists perform at the popcenter 013.
Tilburg student Life
The student life in Tilburg has four major student associations. One of them, namely I*ESN, is specifically targeting international students. One of the most characteristic aspects of the student life in Tilburg is the phenomenon called beer cantus. Large parties where hundreds of students sit at long tables, singing together and drinking beer. They are led by the praesidium, a selection of deputies from the four associations and a band on a stage.
Because of the friendly atmosphere in Tilburg, many students instantly feel at home.

Conveniently located near the central station, city center and within ten minutes of the University lies the CityCampus TalentSquare. This is where over 700 mostly international students live together on one campus.
All the facilities you need are present on campus. There is a launderette, a restaurant, an internet shop and an office of the campus manager to help you if necessary. All the conditions are set for you to make the most of your time as a student in Tilburg. You can hire your own parkingspace for € 30,30 a month.
The housing itself consists of three types of studio’s: Basic studio, Comfort and Comfort Plus. The main difference between them is the interior. All three types come with an own toilet, sink and shower, curtains and carpet and superfast internet. The comfort and comfort+ studios even come with large furniture already in place. The comfort+ has even a completely furnished kitchen (hob, oven-microwave combi, fridge, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, cuttlery, pots & pans, glasses & mugs, kitchen utensils).
